Ingredients

Method

  1. Gather all ingredients.
  2. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
  3. Whisk eggs, garlic powder, and onion powder together in a shallow bowl. Place cracker crumbs into a second shallow bowl.
  4. Dip pork chops into egg mixture, then press in cracker crumbs to coat.
  5. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add breaded chops and fry until golden brown, 2 to 3 minutes per side. Transfer to a baking sheet.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven until no longer pink in the center, about 45 minutes. An instant-read thermometer inserted into the center should read 145 degrees F (63 degrees C).

Nutrition Facts (per serving): 521 Calories, 21g Fat, 49g Carbs, 32g Protein. Reviewer tips: put seasonings in cracker crumbs instead of egg for more flavor; some bake less time (15-30 min) depending on chop thickness; some fry completely instead of baking; mustard can be substituted for egg; Progresso Italian breadcrumbs used by some; one reviewer felt 3 packets/12oz crackers was excessive.
